What is a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders degree?

A Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders is a graduate degree focused on the study of human communication, its development, disorders, and treatments. This degree prepares students to become speech-language pathologists (SLPs), who diagnose, treat, and help prevent communication and swallowing disorders in individuals across the lifespan, from infants to the elderly. Graduates also meet the requirements for the Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
