The mission of the Alumni Association is to foster meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships that connect the University and all of its Alumni. The Association nurtures relationships among alumni by providing meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of alumni and present a positive image about the University and its graduates. Recognizing that learning is a lifelong process, in all of its activities, the Association is committed to maintaining and supporting the University of Redlands as a world-class institution of higher learning and academic excellence.
The Alumni Board is the governing body of the Alumni Association, which was founded in 1912 by Rachel Coolidge Price, Class of 1911 as a means for the University and its Alumni to communicate and serve one another. The Alumni Board represents and serves as the voice of the University of Redlands alumni community. As a result, a primary function of the board is to provide strategic guidance and input to the Office of Alumni Relations team on the best practices for promoting alumni engagement and enhancing the alumni experience. The Alumni Board of Directors meets three times a year and is inclusive of all alumni including graduate alumni.
This board is comprised of dedicated Alumni who volunteer their time in both individual and combined efforts to further the vision of our Association’s founder and to constantly explore both new and traditional ways of getting and keeping our Alumni engaged with this University.
The Board’s work serves all Alumni groups associated with the University including alumni from University of Redlands, Johnston Center, San Francisco Theological Seminar, Presidio programs and University of Woodbury. Each member currently serves on one or more of the following committees such as: Engagement and Events, Development, Belonging, Diversity, and Inclusion, Careers and Internships, Greek Alumni Leadership Network (GALN), Alumni Awards, and Alumni Board Nominations.
Alumni Association awards are accepted year-round to nominate as many deserving individuals as you know. Celebrate University of Redlands students and alumni who lead with purpose and passion. Explore award categories and meet inspiring recipients making an impact.
