The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics program aims to provide you with a deep appreciation for and understanding of mathematical ideas, together with the opportunity to apply mathematical tools to problems from the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. You will study mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and written and oral communication for mathematics. After completing your core courses, you can choose electives from pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, or courses that help you prepare for teaching middle school or high school mathematics.
