The Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies: Elementary Education with Multiple Subject Credential is an evening degree completion program for transfer students who have started but have not yet completed a four-year undergraduate degree related to education. You will complete the program in two academic years that culminate in fieldwork experience. Those interested in an extended pathway option can speak with their designated academic advisor upon admission. Upon graduation, you will be prepared to teach multiple subjects in the Pre-K-12 elementary school setting.
This teacher preparation program is accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) and aligns with SB 2042 standards.
We prepare our teachers to be critical thinkers so they don't blindly accept what is given in the education system.

The Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies: Elementary Education program is offered in a hybrid format. Courses in terms 1-4 are scheduled twice per week, in the evening. These courses will meet in person for the first session and synchronously online for the second session of each week.
The coursework and field experience segments of the program are delivered in a prescribed sequence. Pathways are recommended for timely program completion. For course descriptions, please view the current university catalog.
