Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems

This certificate program introduces working professionals to the fundamentals of GIS, including data creation, cartographic presentation, Python scripting, and web GIS development. It’s ideal for those new to GIS or looking to apply it meaningfully within their field.

How to apply

Complete the online application form. The online application requires the following materials:

  • A complete resume
  • Official transcripts 
  • IERF evaluation of transcripts if the transcripts are provided by schools outsides the US

You are welcome to send the optional application materials, such as letters of recommendation and a personal statement to gis@redlands.edu

Computer system requirements

The students will download and install ArcGIS Pro to their own computer/laptop using the Redlands account. To run the software, please review and check the system requirements.
