Johnston complex
Learn all about the Johnston complex residential community.
Johnston is a living-learning community where students design their majors, making this a unique living experience on campus. Faculty members have offices located throughout for students to engage with their professors daily. There is a coffeehouse, art studio, meditation room, computer center, music room, and numerous lobbies where students and professors can gather. The buildings are located on Colton Avenue and University Avenue.
Details
Rooms have limited outlets so residents are encouraged to pack a power strip. Command or 3M strips are recommended for hanging items on the wall versus nails or tape. Other recommended items include extra long bedding, blankets, basic cleaning supplies, desk lamp, mini fridge, TV, shower supplies, hangars, and all basic essentials. Residents are encouraged to leave pets, electric scooters microwaves, air conditioners, halogen lamps, cinder blocks, firearms, nails, tacks, and incense or candles at home.
