First Year and Transfer Students

The University of Redlands provides free technical support to all students in on-campus and away from campus. Free Wi-Fi access is provided to all students on Residence Halls (SafeConnect is required).

What is SafeConnect?

SafeConnect is a piece of software known as a Policy Key. This is what allows your device to keep automatically connecting to the UoR network without having to reenter your credentials. The residential areas are a more secure network that requires this installation. Please download the software when prompted by our network. If you are not prompted to download SafeConnect and you are having issues with your connection when you get back to your dorm, forget the UoR network and reconnect using your credentials. This should prompt the SafeConnect window. If SafeConnect is not prompted, and you are unable to connect to UoR, please submit a ticket to Resnet.

Microsoft 365

The University of Redlands provides Microsoft 365 to all students, the license is active until you leave the university.
