Suzette Soboti M.A.

Suzette Soboti joined the University of Redlands in April 1998 and has coached the women’s lacrosse team since its varsity inception in 1999. She also serves as head coach for women’s soccer and is a faculty member in the Department of Kinesiology.

A graduate of Skidmore College with a double major in physical education and biology, Soboti’s academic emphasis was delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). She was also a standout student-athlete, serving as goalkeeper in both soccer and lacrosse and excelling in basketball.

After earning a master’s degree in exercise science, with a continued emphasis on DOMS, from Montclair State University, Soboti coached soccer for four years at Middlesex County College, as well as high school lacrosse, field hockey, and basketball, before relocating to Redlands.

In her spare time, Soboti enjoys crime series, movies and books, music, and outdoor pursuits. She resides in Redlands with her husband, Brian Swinson, and their three dogs, Ivy, Snickers, and Bode.
